A website rebuilt around how people actually search for a mover.

Not a redesign for its own sake. Every page, from the homepage down to the smallest location page, was built to match a specific search intent and earn the click once it ranks.

SCOPE: Website Rebuild, SEO Architecture LOCATION: Nairobi, Kenya PLATFORM: WordPress
01 · The Approach, In Overview

Three problems, one rebuild

The old site could not tell Google, or a visitor, exactly what it did and where. The rebuild solved that at every level, from page structure down to individual sentences.

1

Intent-Matched Pages

Separate, dedicated pages for house moving, office relocation, international moves, storage, and packing, each written for the person searching that exact need, instead of one page trying to cover everything.

2

Location-Aware Architecture

A structured set of location pages built where the search demand actually is, so someone searching for a mover in their own neighbourhood finds a page written for them, not a generic citywide page.

3

Click-Worthy Metadata

Titles and descriptions rewritten sitewide so that ranking well and being clicked are treated as two separate problems, both solved deliberately rather than left to a plugin default.

02 · Keyword & Intent Mapping

Every page earns its place with real search data

How pages were prioritised

Before a single page was designed, real search demand was mapped against the services Space Move actually offers. Pages were built where genuine demand existed, not around a generic template repeated across every city and suburb.

Storage emerged as a clear priority from that mapping exercise, a category competitors were largely ignoring despite consistent search interest.

What this looks like in practice

  • A dedicated page for every core service, written around how customers actually describe that need
  • Location pages built where search demand is concentrated, not assumed
  • An FAQ layer answering the exact questions customers ask before booking a move
  • A content and blog plan built around real customer questions, not generic industry topics
03 · Protecting What Already Worked

A rebuild that lost nothing in the transition

A site rebuild is often where a business quietly loses the search visibility it already had. This one was mapped and redirected so that did not happen.

Every page on the old site was catalogued against real search performance data before the rebuild began. Pages that were already earning clicks were identified and carried forward deliberately, not left to chance.

A full redirect map was built connecting every old URL to its new equivalent, preserving the search equity the domain had already earned rather than starting from zero.

04 · Field Notes

What this approach is built to deliver

Intent Beats Volume

A page built for “office movers in Nairobi” will always outperform a generic “our services” page for that exact search, regardless of how much content the generic page has.

Storage Was Hiding in Plain Sight

Real search data surfaced a category most competitors were not investing in properly, turning it into one of the strongest opportunities on the account.

Ranking Is Only Half the Job

A page that ranks but is not clicked earns nothing. Metadata and messaging were treated as their own dedicated workstream, not an afterthought.

Content Answers Real Questions

The blog and FAQ strategy was built around the questions customers actually ask when planning a move, not around generic industry topics with no search demand behind them.
